Business Development Specialists

Generate new revenue for IBDATA through the sale of corporate seminars and memberships by initiating contact to new prospective companies and dormant client/customers and cultivating new business relationships. Candidates will start in a temporary full-time role and be promoted to a regular full-time position with benefits after three months of successful training. Starting salary is 32K plus immediate commission incentives. Following successful training, candidates will be eligible to fill Regional Account Manager vacancies. The average gross salary for a Regional Account Manager with at least one year of service in 2015 was 54K.

Responsibilities:

Achieve stated monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets on delivered and paid activity and annual appointment set criteria.
Initiate sales contacts and relationship building telephone calls to targeted prospect companies and dormant client/customer segments to build loyalty and generate future revenue.
Create client/customer contact plans based on the preferred medium as well as the frequency of contact.
Increase client/customer database and penetrate dormant accounts by actively seeking referrals and prospecting to generate additional revenue.
Identify key individuals to build relationships for the purpose of developing and managing accounts.
Execute corporate marketing strategies implementing various lead-based sales campaigns for new business acquisition, customer retention and account development.
Actively maintain and grow individual and company relationships by providing exceptional customer service and developing additional sales opportunities.
Conduct training needs assessments with clients/customers, research available options and recommend appropriate training solutions.
Support and actively participate in a sales integration strategy incorporating a multi-level account structure.
Identify, qualify and direct client/customer needs through appropriate sales channels.
Document critical client/customer information to provide sales and marketing intelligence that can be leveraged at senior management levels.
Maintain comprehensive product and technical knowledge using all available resources.
Utilize various computer based systems and telecommunications technology daily to maintain relationships with client/customers and accounts.
Plan and organize daily work schedules to effectively manage leads and accounts - Contribute positively to sales team efforts by achieving related results.
Other related duties.

Qualifications:

High School graduate or equivalent; some college preferred.
3 or more years of business experience essential.
2 years of sales experience required. Account development/management experience preferred.
High volume telephone experience, preferably in a sales environment.
